Tools your Patient Advocates can use!
A Patient Advocate has more to do beyond preparing application forms. We've added a series of tools and reports to PDA to improve their productivity and effectiveness overall. And there are new features being added regularly! Many began as suggestions from our current users.
Advocate's Toolkit:
- Reminder notes attached to scripts and client files. They show up on your home page on the appointed date, and link directly to the script or client requiring attention.
- Track all scripts handled by date, client, drug manufacturer or location. Record when the form was mailed, and when the drugs were recieved.
- Track all activity for a selected client (patient). Get printed reports for a selected client.
- Cover Sheet on each printed form lists critical information about that form and that manufacturer's program.
- Database of drugs and applicable programs. Links to program websites and phone numbers to call for info.
- Customizable take-home sheet for the client/patient to explain the program and what is required of them.
- Take-home patient worksheet to help them collect required financial and information
- Advocate training materials and background info. The Advocate's Library will expand to be broad reference tool and resource for the Advocate, promoting skills development ad professionalism.
