Licensing Options
A customer account for PDA is based on the "Facility", "Location" and the "User", for a specified time period.
A. Facility
A "Facility" is the licensing customer; essentially one contract equals one facility. You may have a number of different physical locations, but if they are all signed-up as one customer we call them one "facility."
The facility is the primary security "scope" of the application. Users assigned to your facility will see only data for your facility. Everything is restricted to the facility.
We currently charge a Set-Up Fee for a new facility/customer. This is a one-time fee.
B. Locations
Many of our customers operate multiple locations, perhaps a main health center and several small neighborhood clinics, for example. We'll enter the addresses for each locations at sign-up, and each physician and patient will be assigned to the appropriate location as they are entered into the system. The number of locations does not effect out fee.
When patients are being treated at multiple locations, our current advocates generally designate the location where the patient's records are kept. Remember, this only effects what is entered into the Drug Program application forms (which is often where the drugs are delivered.) How and where you actually treat the patient is your business; we only want to get the right address on the form.
C. Advocates/Users
For each user who will access the PDA system and do work, you will purchase a User ID. Users are not tied to a location but access all information for your facility. At present we license user accounts with a fixed charge for the first user ID and discounted rates for additional ID's.
Each user has unlimited access to the system as long as the Facility account is alive. There is no limit on the number of patients recorded or the number of forms accessed and printed.
D. Time Period
While the fee structure is (or was) based on a monthly fee per user, at present we are only offering contracts for a one year duration.
