PDA USA
The Prescription Drug Assistant

Getting Started With PDA

It's remarkably easy. PDA is not software that you buy and install, it is a web-based service that you sign-up for. Very quick and easy!

When you register with us you purchase one or more User ID's for a specified period of time. The ID's allow your Patient Advocates, or whoever you have managing PAP Program applications for patients, to access the PDA system. Each user has unlimited access; add as many patients as desired, print as many forms as desired. As long as your account is active your advocates have full access, and all updates to the system are included.

Here's how it  goes...

1. Contact us: Give us a call or send an email. We'll demo the product for you via webcast (all you need is a web browser) and we can discuss your needs. We'll exchange a few messages working out the details.

2. You sign a service agreement: Once we have agreed on what works best for you, we'll send you an Agreement, Terms of Service, and other documents as required. Sign those and return them and we're underway!

3. We send you User IDs and initial passwords for your users: We'll enter information about your facility and our locations and create user accounts for as many users as you have licensed. As soon as you get those your advocates can be on the system and working!

4. We "bulk load" as much data as possible: For many of our early customers we have bulk loaded the Physician list and many existing patients from data extracts they provided. One recent customer started up with all of their physicians and nearly 4,000 of their patients already in the system.

5. Training your users: If you are in New England we might come by; we like to meet our customers if possible, but realistically that is rarely cost effective. We rely heavily on web conferencing. Your users will be able to interact with us live, while we share our computer screen or yours. We can answer questions and demonstrate the system, and then watch live as your users try it out for themselves (using our demo data and "practice" accounts.)

6. Your advocates work faster and smarter: That's all it takes to bring this powerful tool to your facility. If there are problems or a need for additional training, we use email support and the web conferencing system to stay in touch.

It all starts with your phone call (or email!)
